Project Overview
ATG delivered a two-storey modular education facility within a live school environment, providing contemporary learning spaces to support a growing campus.
ATG successfully delivered a new two-storey modular facility for Hume Anglican Grammar, comprising 61 modules and approximately 3,000m² of floor area. The development includes modern classrooms, administrative areas, locker bays and student amenities, designed to support the school’s expanding enrolment.
Delivered within a fully operational campus, the project required detailed planning and coordination to maintain uninterrupted school activities. The new facility was carefully integrated with existing buildings and infrastructure, ensuring alignment across structural, architectural and services elements while achieving readiness for Day 1, Term 1.
The project adopted a modular construction methodology, with the majority of works completed offsite at ATG’s manufacturing facility. This approach enhanced quality control, improved programme certainty and significantly reduced onsite disruption. Installation and critical site activities were strategically scheduled around school holiday periods to minimise impact on students and staff.
Early investigations identified challenging ground conditions, including significant rock, which were proactively managed through planned excavation and coordination with services installation. The project also included major upgrades and extensions to electrical, hydraulic and fire services to support seamless integration with the existing campus.
The completed facility demonstrates ATG’s ability to deliver complex modular education infrastructure within live environments, balancing construction efficiency with careful stakeholder management and safety.
