Contract Administrator
Contracts Management (Construction) — Full time
Role and Responsibilities
As a Contract Administrator you will negotiate, plan, organise, and control the cost and revenue of projects. You will support the Project Manager by managing the trade packages to ensure the site operatives have the resources they need to complete the project whilst managing contractual risk for the project. You will identify project cost and procurement risks early and manage with urgency for a resolution. The role will require you to work in partnership with all employees across the business as well as clients, subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project sites.
Requirements
- 3 + years minimum working in a similar role.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Experience with using Vista, Procore & Hammertech preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence others to achieve desired outcomes.
- Team player with the ability to manage both with internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and Work Health & Safety Act.
- Strong knowledge of Melbourne construction market and subcontractors.
Cadet Estimator
Estimating (Construction) — Full time
Role and Responsibilities
With guidance, support and training, this role includes but is not limited to the below tasks & key deliverables:
- Review of tender documentation as part of the Pre-Construction Team
- Attend site inspections and record site conditions
- Read construction drawings and measure material quantities
- Communicate effectively and build quality relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Prepare sub-contractor and supplier tender documentation
- Analysis and review of trade quotations
- Provide pricing recommendations
- Collate and handover tender information to the Construction Team
Requirements We are seeking a motivated, driven and passionate individual who is willing to learn and holds the following skills:
- Undertaking studies or recently completed a Construction Management and/or Quantity Surveying Qualification
- Strong work ethic with proactive and constructive behaviours
- Analytical thinker with a strong attention to detail
- Organised with an ability to work to deadlines
- Construction white card
- Experience working in a built environment would be preferable but not required.
