Queensland Fire Department HQ, Brisbane QLD
Project Overview
ATG has completed the Queensland Fire Department Headquarters fit-out in Brisbane, consolidating over 500 staff from four separate locations into a single, purpose-built facility. The project delivers a modern, integrated workplace designed to support operational efficiency and collaboration.
ATG was engaged as principal contractor to deliver this large-scale headquarters fit-out, bringing together multiple teams into a unified and highly functional workplace environment.
The project comprised the fit-out of the ground floor and eight additional levels, including full office refurbishments, upgraded workspaces, amenities and lobby areas. Works were carefully coordinated to ensure a seamless integration of new and existing elements across the building.
A key component of the project was the delivery of extensive upgrades to core base-building services, including electrical, fire protection, mechanical, hydraulic and security systems. This services-heavy scope required a high level of coordination and technical capability to integrate new infrastructure within an operational commercial environment.
Externally, the works included upgrades to surrounding car parks and landscaping, enhancing accessibility and overall site presentation.
This project highlights ATG’s capability in delivering large, complex fit-outs, supported by a dedicated on-site project team managing real-time coordination, quality assurance and stakeholder engagement. The completed headquarters provides a future-ready workplace that supports the ongoing operational needs of the Queensland Fire Department.
